Good morning, loved ones! Thank you for your prayers for Abby. In case you don't know, she was rushed to Mobile via ambulance Wednesday evening. Admitted to USA Women and Children's Hospital with severe croup. Treated and released a little after 4 PM Thursday. Laura and Don grabbed a bite to eat and headed out of Mobile about 10 miles, stopped at Wal-Mart to get prescriptions filled - which took 1 1/2 hours. By the time Laura got back to the vehicle (where Don and Abby had stayed), Abby was again in respiratory distress. They turned around and returned to the hosptial where Abby was readmitted (same room as she had 1st time). Began treatments and is doing much better this AM. Spoke with Don and he said she had a much better night and was presently sleeping. No diagnosis of asthma (this is not a named diagnosis until the age of 2), because everytime this has happened it has been related to a viral infection. She was given a diagnosis of ARD (Airway Restrictive Disease). Please continue to remember her in your prayers as this will be an ongoing problem unless the Lord heals her. Don had the same problems as a child until he was 9.
Zach is doing better. Was able to go to school this AM. (Not that he WANTED to!) Addison is doing fine also. Has adapted well staying with Nana and Papa. Sleeping well at night. Has only asked for Anita twice, but was not distressed even then.
I love you all. Hope you have a great day! Again, thanks for all the prayers for Laura and family.

Good news! Thanks for letting us know. We will pray and believe with you!
Tis SO sweet to trust in Jesus
Just to take Him at His word
Just to rest upon His promise
Just to know "thus saith the Lord."
Correction here, you guys. Laura said her diagnosis was RAD rather than ARD. Right words, different order. Restrictive Airway Disease.
Sorry about that. The crew is home. Abby is playing but ocassionally has a coughing spell. Seems glad to be home (at least to Nana's!).
Storming pretty bad here. I need to get off the computer. Love you.

Sorry about the duplication - thought I was editing my mispelled "occasionally" and evidently sent it by mistake.
you were a home schooler, and more ocd than you
like to admit . . . I love you!
Thanks for the good report, hoping Laura and Don get a little rest this weekend.
