I just realized something! I thought I had examined my list carefully of birthdays. Obviously I didn't. I just realized that I missed Mikayla's birthday. I don't know why I missed it, but I'm EXTREMELY sorry. I've had my head in a cloud for weeks anticipating NQC and now it's over and I've had a hard time concentrating on everything going on around me.
For this oversight, I apologize again and again. Her birthday was September 10th. I'm so sorry I missed you Mikayla....

sooooooooooo cute! She'll love it and I think there are 10 candles on that cake! Just spoke with Johnna and the doctor does think Mikayla is in pre-diabetes stage and will monitor her. No insulin prescribed yet; pray with us re healing.
How in the world do you come up with all these things, Anita? You're a definite plus in my book!

Johnna had called earlier to say they are not putting her on insulin yet, but will monitor closely. Only dietary restrictions are soft drinks.
Please pray for our little girl. God can heal her!
We'll be praying for her. It's really a wonderful thing that there are only dietary restrictions at this point.
And only soft drink restrictions at that. That really is wonderful - if there can be a "wonderful" about the whole ordeal. We'll be praying. I'll add her request to our prayer box. We pray over these needs every service. God is able to completely heal her. I believe that!
