Howz the arm?

Aunt Linda - Want to give us a word on how your arm is? I keep forgetting to ask about it. I'll post your update.

Mark - Want to tell us all about your new position and adjustment in Oklahoma?

Mom - Want to post an update on Abby? Laura's too busy right now.

Anyone else have anything they want to update us on?

My right arm is NOT inflamed and has been doing better for almost 2 weeks. So, the left arm is improving too! Thank you for your prayers.

Inquiring minds want to know how Mikayla's diabetes' testing is going too.

Yes, I'm VERY interested in knowing what all is going on with Mikayla. I have a friend who's little girl (10 yrs old) was diagnosed with diabetes 3 weeks ago. She just fell apart at the very mention of it, so I was afraid to ask. I didn't forget. I was hoping there would be someone asking other than myself.

Glad your arm is doing better, Linda. I, too, have been wondering about Mikayla's tests. Someone update us!

Abby continues to have a horrible cough - almost strangles her at times. Still hoarse voice and not eating a whole lot. But still the comedian that she is! She has a MD appt tomorrow @ 2:40 PM with her regular pediatrician. I saw Dr. Donald Tuesday AM - the MD that was called in by Dr. Hassell (ER MD). I thanked him for what he did for Abby last Wednesday night. Wanted an update on her. Told her what all had transpired in Mobile and present condition. He said, "I'm suprised they didn't do a bronchoscopy to check for a twinkie wrap." I said, "WHAT is a 'twinkie wrap'?" He proceeded to tell me that kids at her age are always putting things in their mouths. Said sometimes a small piece of cellophane is swallowed and it lodges - causing problems similar to what Abby's having. (Then I got the "twinkie wrap".) Gave me the name of a pulmonologist to give Laura - seems to think it might be a good idea for her to see him. Anita is familiar with this guy (being that she worked at the hospital Abby was at in Mobile) and says he's really good. Had a lot of her Cystic Fibrosis kids there. So we're hoping Ab's pediatrician will make the referral to see Dr. Sindle. Will update on her MD visit later. Probably not until Saturday cause I'm going to work after we get in from Mobile. Maybe Laura will update this.

Love you all. I'm calling it an early night. I've caught whatever the kids have had and I'm ready for bed!

We have been checking it 3 times a day since last Wed. We will go to the dr for follow up on Mon. It's been running 73 to 120's. It's only been high 2 times! Praise the Lord!
