My Project in Progress

This is just a few pictures so Mom and Laura can see what project I worked on all weekend and what the end result is. I'm not finished totally, as I said, it's still in progress.

See
, when we moved from our other house, we sold all of our office furniture because frankly we were afraid that it would be too big for our new home. So, I have been relatively disorganized since our move. I've attempted some organization, but it seems to get out of hand quite often, so I decided to attempt this project to take up less space.

Since we moved here, our computer table has been Addison's changing table from the other house. But, it's been an interesting project so far.

I've not do
ne any work yet with the cords, so they are still everywhere, as you can see in the photos. Here is some of the progress in pictures. And for the bulletin board projects you see, that's a unique $5 project with letters that I had stuffed away in my scrapbook bag, and they happened to work. I was so proud.

I can't really tell anything about the bulletin board projects. What are you referring to?

The desk/bookshelf turned out great. You did a great job, Anita. Proud of you, sissie. Thanks for sharing the pictures! I hope to get started on my closet project when we return from Ohio.

Looks good!
Am wondering what will go on the top shelf? Good thing Addison no longer needs to be "changed" she might be delegated that space!

I have unfinished projects and will do my best to begin again, just 'cause you encouraged me wiff yours!

The saga of the deer . . . Larry woke up while I was still on the computer last night, walked in here and said:
LD: "So you hit a deer."
BD: "Hit what?"
LD: "The deer. Did it hurt the car?"
BD: "What are you talking about?"
LD: "Jeremy said you hit a deer on the way home."
BD: "What did you eat before you went to bed?"
LD: "Barb, just tell me. I'm sleepy!"

So, I confessed. Hit the deer. NO damage. Can you believe that? Thank you, Lord! The only PROOF was all the hair - still on the bumper this AM.

The top shelves will include storage for office supplies that will be coordinated with the colors of the curtains in the room. I haven't finished those yet.

Linda, Anita sent me a web site a few weeks ago where she got this idea. Really neat site. Great ideas!

So when will you be back this way so you can help me create one??? I love it. Can't wait to see it in person.
Mom, if you click on the picture, it will enlarge it and you can see what she's talking about with the bulletin board. Great idea.
